Startingtime flies

a new semester! (It’s also my last semester of high school? like how does that work?) I’ve heard from a lot of people that the spring of senior year is going to be the easiest out of high school, and I’m really looking forward to that!

to be done with college applications soon? to be accepted to college(es)? Not sure, but recently my life has included a lot of late-night application deadline meeting, and I really hope to be done with that soon!

(realistically, I only have one or two left, so I’m really really close to being done . . . but it FEELS SO FAR AWAY OMG)

new blogposts! I’ve been semi-away from my blog for a while, and I’m hoping to get back into it this year, before college starts and I’ll be super busy again. I have some interesting content ideas, so those will be coming soon! I just . . . err . . . need to find time to get those written.

library cardReading

LITERALLY ALL THE THINGS. At the end of last year on winter break, I went to the library . . . two days in a row. (BAD IDEA). My physical TBR pile is literally over 30 books right now, and er . . it’s a *small* problem.

music! I stopped listening to a lot of music the end of last year, and I’m slowly getting back to it right now, especially since I’ve been spending more time on the computer/doing actual work. (Also, band starts really soon and I’m SO EXCITED. There hasn’t been for a month, and I am so ready to start playing flute again omgns)

Your turn! What are you starting, hoping, scheduling, reading, and playing this week/month?

Linking up with Anne in Residence.

  1. Ooh, I love this! ACK! College applications sound terrifying, though… :((( I am wishing you ALL OF THE LUCK! Is it a weird question to ask what you are hoping to be when you grow up?
SCHEDULING BLOG POSTS HAS BEEN THE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE FOR CENTURIES. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ And DUDE. YOUR TBR SOUNDS TERRIFYING. Mine is slightly smaller, I think, but simply because I haven’t been able to get physical copies of the books I want to read yet… πŸ˜‚

Ummm… I’m not sure if you actually wanted me to answer these but OKAY!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Starting – writing again??? πŸ˜‚ Does that count? I haven’t really written anything since before Christmas, so…yeah. XD
Hoping – to get some watercolor painting done in the course of the next few weeks! I LOVE watercolor painting, and I finally have the tools I need to make notebooks!
    Scheduling – blog posts. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ #hopefully
Reading – RENEGADES by Marissa Meyer!!! I love it and yet am slightly disappointed at the same time… πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Playing – um….violin? I hope to continue my practice this month, since December was filled with Christmas prep. πŸ˜‚

(That was actually really fun…. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Sorry for the long comment!!!)

    • Well. I want to do drug development, and am hoping to do clinical trials/developing drugs for pediatric cancer (different from bloggers, I know).
LOLLL yeah never leave me loose in the library. I will bring home TOO MANY BOOKS and not complain about XD

Ooh, watercolor is so much fun! (aka, it’s the only art form that I don’t strictly suck at XD)

      • Oh my word, that is amazing!! I am wishing you all of the luck!!
HA! Is there truly such a thing as too many books, though??? Really and truly???? XD

YES!!!! Same, haha! I’m really bad at basically every other form of art but I’m SEMI-DECENT at watercolor. It’s awesome… And I also like painting, cause it makes me feel like I’m transported back to the days before technology, for some reason??? (or perhaps that is the Pride and Prejudice soundtrack I always play while painting… XD)

SAME WITH THE TBR. It’s seriously a problem…I feel so behind, and I’m hoping to read a lot more this year!

Staring – my new blog & outlining.
Hoping – to go to a writing conference this year!
Scheduling – LIFE. Like, I try way to hard to organize my life!
Reading – A Time to Die.
    Playing – piano!

I hope you have a blessed month, and finish up college applications, Hannah!

  5. Hello Hanne. I am a Pastor from Mumbai, India. I am glad to stop by your profile and the blog post. I am also blessed and feel privileged and honored to get connected with you as well as know you and about your interest in the Lord Jesus Christ. I am glad to stop by your blog post and go through how you are going about in the year 2018 starting from January 2018. I love getting connected with the people of God around the globe to be encouraged,s trengthened and praying for one another. I have been in the Pastoral ministry for last 38 yrs in this great city of Mumbai a city with a great contrast where richest of rich and the poorest of poor live. We reach out to the poorest of poor with the love of Christ to bring healing to the brokenhearted. We also encourage young and the adults from the west to come to Mumbai to work with us during their vacation time. We would love to have you come with your friends to work with us during your vacation time. I am sure you will have a life changing experience.

  6. Haha oh goodness, I did the same thing with library visits already this year!! I went to three different libraries within the same week, and I had accumulated enough checked-out books to read one a day for the next three weeks or so, lol. (Which I didn’t do, obviously hah) I know that you’ll accomplish all that you set out do this year and so much more, Hanne! ❀
